XHEART unveils x9 chip with 3000 tops performance set for 2027 launch
XHEART, a spin-off from Momenta's chip project, announced during a press conference on October 29, 2026, its next-generation large model chip, XHEART X9. The CEO, Li Zonglin, emphasized the company's ongoing strategy of 'producing one generation, developing one, and pre-researching another.' The X9 chip is set to launch in 2027 and aims to deliver 3000 TOPS of large model computing power along with 700GB/s memory bandwidth. The chip will follow the 'large model defines the chip' approach, focusing on soft-hard synergy for next-generation world models. XHEART, which was established and achieved chip production within two years, has already demonstrated rapid progress with its X7 chip, which was successfully tested in real-world conditions within 17 days.
XHEART's X9 chip is designed to enhance both computational and memory capabilities, enabling more efficient operation of large models. The company's rapid development timeline, including the quick production and testing of its first chip, highlights its commitment to advancing AI hardware. XHEART's success in achieving a full vehicle integration within a short period underscores its potential to lead in the AI chip market.
