Xiaomi launches MiMo-V2.6: open-source model surpasses kimi k3 and GLM-5.3 in aa index

Xiaomi has officially released and open-sourced the MiMo-V2.6 series, featuring Pro and Flash versions, with pricing unchanged from the previous version. The MiMo-V2.6-Pro model achieved a score of 46 on the AA Index v4.3.2, surpassing Kimi K3 (44) and GLM-5.3 (45), becoming the highest-ranked open-source model. The model’s training cost approximately $2.62 million for Pro and $850,000 for Flash, with each completing 30 steps and generating around 750,000 trajectories. Xiaomi claims the model’s performance has improved significantly, with training accuracy increasing by 25% and 12% for Pro and Flash respectively. The model also supports 10 million context length and integrates 3D spatial reasoning and multimodal capabilities. Xiaomi has also launched MiMo Desktop and open-sourced the model’s weights and technical reports, alongside RL research resources.
