Xiaomi unveils updated MiMo-V2.6 models, replacing V2.5 versions

Xiaomi has officially launched its MiMo-V2.6 models, replacing the previous V2.5 versions. The new models, MiMo-V2.6-Pro and MiMo-V2.6-Flash, are now available, with the V2.5 versions going offline on October 21, 2026. The transition began on October 14, 2026, with all requests automatically redirected to the new models. The V2.6-Flash model does not support custom temperature and top_p parameters, using default values of 1.0 and 0.95 respectively. Xiaomi also announced that the V2.6 series maintains the same API pricing as the V2.5 series, with Flash at 1 yuan per million input tokens and 2 yuan per million output tokens, and Pro at 3 yuan and 6 yuan, offering a 99% cache discount. The new models are positioned as the top-performing open-source models in the AA index, surpassing competitors like Kimi K3 and GLM-5.3.
