ZhipuAI conducted an additional two-week security assessment before releasing the model weights due to its advanced cybersecurity capabilities. GLM-5.3 scored 60 on the AA Comprehensive Intelligence Index, placing it among global leading models like Claude Fable 5 and GPT-5.6 Sol, and tying with Kimi K3 in the open-source category. Despite its high performance, GLM-5.3 offers lower parameter size and cost, making advanced AI capabilities more accessible.
