Zhuyuan launches initiative to collaborate with over 20 universities for embodied intelligence talent development

On October 16, 2026, Zhuyuan launched the 'Yuan Shen Ecosystem Development Plan,' partnering with over 20 universities to establish embodied intelligence education and research platforms. The initiative includes over 1,000 robots, such as the Genie, Lingxi, and Yuzheng models, along with the AIMA development platform. Total investment in the program reaches 200 million yuan, with partnerships including Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Zhejiang University. Zhuyuan also plans to expand collaborations with 237 research institutions and over 500 global partners as part of a five-year strategy to invest over 2 billion yuan. Earlier in October, Zhuyuan raised 10 to 15 billion yuan, with a valuation of 500 billion yuan. Zhuyuan, founded in 2023, recently completed its 20,000th robot, setting a global production record. The company aims to integrate hardware and software education to build a sustainable industry-academia collaboration model.
