At the 2026 Yunqi Conference, Alibaba Cloud launched Qwen Book, an AI agent computer designed to enhance user intent understanding, continuous learning, and long-term task execution. The device features interactive access points such as a Skill keyboard array, global AI keys, and voice handwriting pens, and supports heavy task operations 24/7. Zhang Xiantao, Vice President of Alibaba Cloud R&D, emphasized the goal of transforming Qwen Book into a token-driven, continuously growing agent carrier, advancing personal intelligence toward RSI. Qwen Book is built on the 'OS as Harness' concept, integrating the Qwen terminal-cloud model with operating system, application, cloud service, and hardware capabilities. It unifies management of interactive access points, runtime environments, and control capabilities, creating a governable agent computing environment. The product has achieved compatibility with partners like Qualcomm, Intel, Logitech, and Kenu, and integrates Alipay and Qwen Input Method. It also collaborates with the open-source project Omarchy to develop new desktop operating systems for agents.
