Alibaba unveils qwennote eva, its first desktop AI assistant

At the 2026 CloudIn Conference, Alibaba's QwenWork introduced QwenNote Eva, its first desktop robot, priced at 899 yuan. Launched on September 22, 2026, the device is fully compatible with Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS. The product emphasizes intelligent collaboration, claiming that one Eva equals one team. QwenNote Eva integrates QwenWork's core with DingTalk's infrastructure, enabling users to issue complex office tasks through natural language. The device supports gaze, touch, and wake-up word activation, offering emotional companionship through qwen-audio with over 100 expressions. QwenNote Eva's hardware includes a 3-axis motor gimbal, magnetic wireless charging, and RGB ambient lighting. It features a compact design, weighing about 700g, and supports fast charging with GaN technology. The device can rotate its arm ±18,000 degrees, pitch up 15 degrees, and adjust horizontally ±20 degrees. It provides a seamless experience by integrating with DingTalk for tasks like messaging, scheduling, and meeting control. The robot's ecosystem covers work, personal assistance, and language practice, reducing software-switching friction. Its capabilities include generating HTML, organizing sales data, and conducting mock interviews. The product aims to deliver an efficient workflow through command submission, multi-end coordination, and result broadcast.
