ByteDance integrates AI product teams under 'doupu work' brand

According to a report by Intelligent Emergence, ByteDance has completed a round of team integration within its office AI products. The TRAE and Coze teams have been fully merged into the Doupu system. TRAE Work and Coze will be integrated with Doupu's product capabilities in work scenarios, while TRAE IDE and CLI will continue to develop as part of the programming product line under the Doupu brand. Following the integration, ByteDance has clarified Doupu's positioning as the main AI business, focusing the AI office product line on Doupu. The report states that Doupu is expected to launch an independent AI office product called 'Doupu Work' soon, serving as a unified product and brand for ByteDance's AI office scenario. A ByteDance representative confirmed that the adjustment aims to better coordinate product and technical resources, providing users with a more optimal AI work experience, with existing user benefits remaining unaffected. Previously, on July 30, ByteDance initiated an organizational adjustment for its AI business, merging the Feishu and Doupu product teams into a new Doupu product team. Following the restructuring, Feishu products and services remain unchanged, while Feishu and Doupu will collaborate more deeply in productivity scenarios. The report also references a previous article from IT Home, which mentioned that Doupu is set to release an AI office product competing with Tencent's WorkBuddy next week.
